Details - Carrick Castle Fencing Tournament

This competition is organised in accordance with British Fencing Association rules. Any competitor who fails to comply with these rules (in particular relating to equipment) will not be permitted to fence or having commenced fencing will be disqualified from further fencing.

Method of Entry
You can enter the competition by clicking here. Postal entries are not currently being accepted. We regret due to timing that no competitor may fence Foil and Sabre.

Entry Fees
£15 for 1st Weapon - £8 for each additional weapon - Cheques payable to Stormont Fencing Club. Entries close on 06/06/2014 2015. No entries will be accepted after this date.

Priority will be given to entries on a first come first served basis subject to an allocation of entries being made to foreign fencers (this does not include foreign fencers based and fencing in N. Ireland, UK & Ireland), Adult and Junior (U18's) applied to all entries received up to 06/06/2014 2015.

Fencers must hold a current Northern Ireland Fencing license or equivalent. All clothing must be in accordance with current FIE / BFA regulations. All fencers must be over 13 on the 1st January 2015 to compete in this Tournament.

Prizes
The presentation of prizes will take place after the completion of the events.

For each competition the organising committee reserves the right to select the format of poules with or without subsequent Direct Elimination which is best suited to the number of participating fencers and the time available. A competition may be cancelled if there are less than 6 entries received by the closing date. Carrickfergus Castle, Stormont Fencing Club or the N.I.F.U cannot be held responsible for loss, injury or damage to any person or item belonging to those entered or spectating at the event.
