TCarrick prozes for 2009 sponsored by PBTrophies arrive for Carrick from PBT (June 09)
Once again through the generous sponsorship of PBT the leading fencing equipment supplier (www.pbt-uk.com) we are awarding 6 ceremonial Swords of Honour - 1 to each weapon for men and the same for the ladies. As always these are much sought after trophies that will be hard won by the eventual winners.

Pictured with 2 of the swords are Michael and Janice Carlisle and Ray McLaughlin all of Stormont Fencing Club, the event organisers, at a recent photo shoot to promote the event which is happening on 20th-21st June 2009.

Dinner Venue announced - (May 09)
The Annual Carrick Tournament Dinner is being held in the Coast Road Hotel this year.The Hotel is only a short distance from te castle and the night promises to be a great evening with good food and plenty of fun as well as hosting the prize giving for the 1st days competitions.

International Flavour for Carrick
Following on from the international fencing taking place just down the road from Carrick Castle at the University of Ulster over Easter, when Belfast hosts the Junior and Cadet World Championships, Carrick already, within weeks of opening its entries has competitors signing up from all over Ireland and as far afield as Canada with interest being shown from other international destinations as well. - Mar 09

The entries for Carrick were opened in early March - those who have signed up to our mailing list will already have received a copy of the entry form and copies are now available on-line from here now. You can also enter on-line right now from here as well. - Mar 09
