We are encouraging on-line
entries this year for the first time at the Carrick
Castle Fencing Tournament. We are also encouraging
early entry to allow us to prepare and plan for the
event in such a way as to get the maximum fencing
time and maximum cover for our sponsors.
To facilitate and encourage this we
are offering a discounted entry fee to anyone entering
on-line or by post before 1st May 2008.
Entries close on 1st June 2008-
if space is available late entries may be accepted
subject to a late entry fee of £10.00
being paid in addition to the standard fee.
Priority will be given to entries on
a first come first served basis subject to an allocation
of entries being made to foreign fencers (this does
not include foreign fencers based and fencing in N.
Ireland, UK & Ireland), Adult and Junior (U18's)
applied to all entries received up to 1st May. Thereafter
any spaces will be filled on a 1st come 1st served
basis.
As a lot of interest has already
been shown and emails will be sent to registered
individuals and clubs, incorporating news and
reminding people to enter, we suggest you enter
early as numbers are limited.
All fencers must be over 13 on
the 1st January 2008 to compete in this Tournament.
You can also enter our ALL
WEAPONS FREE ENTRY Draw by entering
or submitting your email address using the box on
the left before 1st February 2008. If you enter in
advance and win the draw your entry fee will be refunded.
Entering early will also be accepted as entry into
the free draw. (More

or download the Carrick
Castle Tournament entry form here, complete it
and send it with payment - remember it MUST reach
us on/before 1st June (1st May to be eligible for
Early Bird Discount) so post it in plenty of time.
We also host the Carrick Castle
Fencing Tournament Dinner, a great night's
criac and fun, on the Saturday night. At this stage
details are not finalised regarding the price and
venue. This information will be posted on this site
and emailed to those registered when agreed. You can
book your place at the dinner when entering by paying
a deposit of £10. The balance, which we expect
to be between £15-£20 (total max. cost
£25), must be paid BEFORE the dinner and can
be paid at the event on the Saturday. As soon as we
have agreed the venue and cost it will be posted on
this site and emailed to all those on the Carrick
E-Mail list.
